Delivery Policy

VANDERFLEET Dedicated Flower Delivery

VANDERFLEET is dedicated to deliver your flower and gift orders in a timely manner. The date your order is delivered is affected by the time of day your order is placed, busy floral holiday periods, weather conditions, address correctness, and if flower delivery is a remote location. This delivery policy explains the delivery options available to you and how we process your order

Local delivery fee of $12.00 will be added to each order, for each address in the VANDERFLEET Local Delivery Area

Extended Local Delivery fee of $20.00 will be added to each order, for each address in the VANDERFLEET Extended Local Delivery Area

RUSH Courier Service - 1 hour, 2½ hour & 5 hour Available ONLY in our Local Flower Delivery Area. Certain limitations apply and cost may vary. Remember, no guarantee without email confirmation from us, Call VANDERFLEET direct for a Quote and to place RUSH flower order.

Incomplete and incorrect address or phone information will delay flower delivery. Please check correctness of all information before placing floral delivery orders. A re-delivery charge will apply on second try deliveries.

Same Day Delivery orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone. Orders received after noon will be delivered the following day.

Floral delivery times vary, but most florists deliver during normal business hours (9:00am — 7:00pm).

Timed delivery orders Call VANDERFLEET direct for a Quote and to place timed flower order. Certain limitations apply and cost may vary. Subject to adverse weather or traffic conditions or other unforeseen problems.

When Recipient is not home we may attach a call note on their door to contact florist to arrange a convenient time for re-delivery or to leave the delivery at a neighbour on their behalf. Other options - call recipient first to arrange delivery time or if at work all day, send flower gift to the workplace.

Business deliveries require the business name in the Recipient Info section in the checkout area. Please provide additional information in the Special Instructions section in the checkout area. Provide title, department, floor, suite, phone and ext. number, work hours and any information to help ensure a timely delivery.

Busy holiday periods such as Valentines day, Mothers day, Christmas or others, delivery orders must be received 3 business days prior for guaranteed delivery. Although we will do our best, deliveries requested within three business days cannot be guaranteed and may be delivered after the holiday on the next possible date.

Sunday Delivery is not available. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day. VANDERFLEET flower shop hours

Floral delivery status Please consider your delivery order done on the day you requested upon receipt of a confirmation from us. We will contact you by telephone or e-mail should difficulties arise with your order.

Deliveries may vary due to Holidays and recipient availability. Recipients are required to be home to receive international orders.

Delivery to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.


We are not responsible for:

Flowers and gifts delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender.

Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by the sender.

Timed deliveries during busy holiday periods without email confirmation.

Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
