Timed delivery orders Call Vanderfleet florist to confirm time & cost. Vanderfleet will be unable to guarantee timed delivery requests unless verbally agreed on the phone and an email confirmation has been received.
Same Day Delivery orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone. Orders received after that time will be delivered the next business day.
Floral delivery times vary, but most florists deliver during normal business hours (9:00 - 19:00).
Delivery dates can be affected by a number of factors:
- Time of day order placed
- Busy floral holiday periods
- Weather & traffic conditions
- Incorrect address provided by sender
- Recipient not present
- Delivery to remote locations
Incomplete/incorrect address or phone numbers can delay flower delivery. Please double check all information before placing online floral delivery orders. Additional charges will apply on delivery re-tries due to wrong information.
When Recipient is not home the florist may attach a note on the recipient's door asking the recipient to call the florist shop and arrange a convenient time for re-delivery or choose to leave the delivery at a neighbour on their behalf. Another option is calling the recipient first to arrange a delivery time. If the recipient is at work all day, we suggest sending the flower gift to the workplace.
Business deliveries require the name of the organization in the Recipient Info section in the checkout area. Please provide as much additional information as possible in the Special Instructions section in the checkout area as well. Also provide recipient title, department, floor, suite, telephone, Work hours and any other information that we might help to ensure a timely delivery.
Busy holiday periods such as Valentines day, Easter, Mothers day, Christmas etc., delivery orders must be received three business days in advance for guaranteed delivery at these times. Although we will do our best, deliveries requested within three business days cannot be guaranteed and may be delivered after the holiday on the next possible business day. Call Vanderfleet Flowers to confirm delivery date when ordered within this period.
Sunday Delivery is not available. We can deliver on Saturday. Deliveries requested for Sunday will be delivered the following business day. VANDERFLEET flower shop hours
Floral delivery status Email delivery confirmations are sent for each order Please consider your delivery order done on the day you requested upon receipt of a confirmation from us. We will contact you by telephone and/or e-mail if we have any difficulties with your order.
We will be happy to accept your International Orders if you call Vanderfleet florist directly. We are unable to accept international orders online.
Delivery to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
